Hugo Vieira Neto

I am a Professor of Embedded Systems in the Electronics Department (DAELN) and the Post-graduation Program in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Informatics (CPGEI) at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR). My research focuses in real-time processing of visual information to be used in mobile robots for novelty detection and autonomous navigation. This is a challenging field that involves active vision, attention mechanisms and growing data structures for perceptual input representation.
