The Elixir Programming Language, notes by Adolfo Neto
- Elixir Brasil 2020 - A page (in Portuguese) about the major Brazilian Elixir event.
- The Elixir Community of Practice - a GitHub project with data.
- The Elixir Programming Language and its Community - Talk at UFPR on September 18th, 2018.
Since 2017, I have been interested in the Elixir programming language. My research goals are:
- to characterize the Elixir programming language community
- to evaluate if Elixir events (Meetups, Coding Dojos, Conferences) help developers stay up-to-date
Talks
I have given two talks on Elixir in 2017. The slides (in Portuguese) are on Slideshare:
- Programando em Elixir. Video on Periscope.
I am part of the Elixir Curitiba Meetup group.

Coding Dojo
- I will host an Elixir Coding Dojo at FTSL 2018.
Podcasts
I love podcasts and I particularly loved Elixir Fountain. They have interviewed José Valim (creator of Elixir), Joe Armstrong (co-creator of Erlang), Dave Thomas (who wrote the first book on Elixir), Anna Neyzberg (who runs ElixirBridge), Sandi Metz and many more.
Sites
- Official language site “Elixir is a dynamic, functional language designed for building scalable and maintainable applications.”
