Photovoltaic systems and Data analysis of Solar irradiation

The two projects are made mostly in parallel, because the proximity of the type of search. For this project the member make aplications in web environment, maintenance and especification in databased cloud. Therefore the communication in many programming languages. Similar as the previous project the theoretical and practical development of solar power plants, photovoltaic systems and solametric stations.

Managing and Monitoring of Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plants

The main objective of this research is the proposition of a Monitoring and Management System to meet the common needs of the stakeholders of medium-scale grid-connected PV plants, such as the plant owner, the maintenance contractor, and the public electricity utility. The monitoring system measures the total irradiance; ambient temperature; PV module temperature; wind speed; wind direction; output voltage and current of each PV array; output power and energy of each PV array; grid voltage; bidirectional current of the grid; bidirectional power and energy of the grid. Using these variables, the management system includes the detection and classification of faults such as short-circuit, degradation, open-circuit, shadow, MPPT faults; the performance analysis of the plant; and a remote and exclusive communication channel to the power utility for management purposes.
