Subset-Simulated


The aim of the Simulated Subset is to create scenarios that are difficult to reproduce in the real load acquisitions. The waveforms for this subset were collect in MATLAB/SIMULINK for 32 simulated loads. These waveforms were validated with real loads. The electrical circuits of these loads are presented below.

For each load type, there are four different scenarios with varying active power, and combinations of up to five different concurrent loads in the same waveform, and three different load switching angles: 0, 45, and 90 degrees. In addition, six electrical power scenarios for the simulated database were implemented, defined as follows: Ideal (DB-1); With leakage inductance of the wiring, representing the equivalent of the electrical network (DB-2); With leakage inductance and harmonics (DB-3); and With leakage inductance, harmonics, and additive white gaussian noise (AWGN), with 60dB, 30dB and 10dB for SNR (DB-4, DB-5 and DB-6, respectively). Resulting in 804 waveforms in each of these six scenarios. More details of this dataset can be found in:
